How to catch a fish with no net, no hook

Kenneth Frank of Arctic Village has devoted himself to studying the old ways from Elders such as James Gilbert and David Salmon. One day, while out checking his net on the Chandalar River for whitefish, he tells the photographer that, using nothing but the old knowledge, the natural materials around him and the pocket knife he carries, he can catch a fish even though he has no net, pole, nor hook. Sure enough, he does.
