News & Updates

March 2, 2021

As of 12:00 p.m., on March 18, 2020, CATG is taking precautionary measures to reduce services provided to essential core medical and behavioral health services, supportive and essential programs. CATG is developing plans to have as many employees as possible continue their work from home until further notice. We are asking employees to practice patience and flexibility as this is uncharted territory for CATG and we will be figuring this out together. Directors will be working with their programs (including village based staff) to ensure that all needs are being addressed as efficiently as possible.

CATG would like to thank our communities for their support as we navigate this challenging period and when possible, we will resume full services.

Thank you.

COVID-19 Vaccine Update

June 8, 2021

CATG Tribal Members,
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued an Emergency Use Authorization to permit the use of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for active immunization to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 12 years of age and older. CATG Clinics are offering this vaccine and we are recommending ALL individuals 12 years of age and older receive a COVID-19 Vaccine.

CATG is sending out letters to families across the Yukon Flats region to determine how many 12 to 17 year olds are interested in receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. This vaccine is a series of (2) shots. One given now and the other given after 21 days.

Please call your clinic today to obtain a Vaccine Consent Form for Individuals Under 18 years of Age. Parental permission is required for children to receive this vaccine prior to inoculation. We need these forms so we can make preparations to order the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine and make arrangements for travel to your village to provide this service.

This is a fantastic immunization opportunity to keep your children healthy and to keep our communities and elders healthy. We are asking everyone to complete the forms and return it to their village clinics as soon as possible, before June 18th.

If anyone has questions/concerns they can call clinics at:

Fort Yukon, (907) 662-2460

Arctic Village, (907) 587-5229

Beaver, (907) 628-6228

Venetie, (907) 849-8712

Birch Creek, (907) 662-2460

We also have 200 doses of Moderna expiring 8-26-21 and 50 doses of Johnson and Johnson expiring 6-13-21. We are asking folks to call their clinics as soon as possible if they want to get vaccinated.

CATG strongly encourages everyone to get vaccinated!
